Funds & Grants:
TAC Annual Fund: giving one-time donations of any amount is a great way to support our work. This funding supports our administrative and operational costs, (which includes paying our staff who are artists themselves).
Lilly’s Artist Fund: Named after A’Driane’s great grandmother Addie Belle Lilly, an artist, entrepreneur, and patron of arts programming in the city of Philadelphia. Lilly’s Artist Fund has been established by Tessera Arts Collective to offer direct financial support to Black, Indigenous, Latinx, Asian, Pacific Islander, & Indian women & non-binary abstract artists in the United States.
Glendola C. Mills Social Abstraction Grant: Named for A’Driane’s grandmother Glendola C. Mills, a community organizer, activist, and patron of the arts in the city of Philadelphia. This grant offers direct financial support to Black, Indigenous, Latinx, Asian, Pacific Islander, & Indian women & non-binary abstract artists in the United States utilizing abstraction to specifically address social & racial justice issues including:
environmental racism & climate change
reproductive justice
gender equity
LBGTQIA visibility & storytelling
mental health & wellness
This includes artists who utilize a sociological and anthropological approach in their practice as well.
